You'd Think it Would Motivate Me More...

Conversation I had this week with a kindergartner -

Kindergartner: Hey! Um...do you have...do you have a baby in your tummy?

Me: Nope, I don't.

Kindergartner: (looks at my stomach again - which is at her eye level) Well, it sure looks like you do!

Me: Yes, you're right. It does. *sigh*

(Kindergartner runs away, leaving me to reflect on the honesty of children.)

Macy, I have learned with Isaac that it is best to not listen too closely to what kids say.

oh dear, we love them! I told Carson to move his skinny bum. He said, "you need to move your fat bum!" He's right, i should move it more :)
then we had a talk about the word "fat" My kids think it's a swear!

I ran in to a neighbor a few weeks after having Mark, she said "Still hanging on huh? When do you think he's gonna come?" Luckily, she was just as embarrased as I.
