Conversation I had this week with a kindergartner -
Kindergartner: Hey! Um...do you have...do you have a baby in your tummy?
Me: Nope, I don't.
Kindergartner: (looks at my stomach again - which is at her eye level) Well, it sure looks like you do!
Me: Yes, you're right. It does. *sigh*
(Kindergartner runs away, leaving me to reflect on the honesty of children.)

Macy, I have learned with Isaac that it is best to not listen too closely to what kids say.
That was Emily not Matt.
Ah yes.... how children do surprise and delight us.....
oh dear, we love them! I told Carson to move his skinny bum. He said, "you need to move your fat bum!" He's right, i should move it more :)
then we had a talk about the word "fat" My kids think it's a swear!
I ran in to a neighbor a few weeks after having Mark, she said "Still hanging on huh? When do you think he's gonna come?" Luckily, she was just as embarrased as I.
don't worry, mace--that's happened to me before, too! and right after that, they asked another teacher why she had a mustache. good times.
