Pizzeria 712

If you live in the Utah County and you haven't eaten at Pizzeria 712 yet, shame on you. If you are visiting Utah County sometime in the near future, you need to make your way to this restaurant and eat there. If you don't do this, shame on you too. :)

My friend Millie's husband Colton is the chef and co-owner of this fantastic pizzeria. I heard about the restaurant opening from AnnDee and from KTB and they both loved it, so when we were in Utah for the holidays, my family stopped in at the restaurant for dinner.

Friends, it was delicious.

I had this pizza:
It's called speck pizza. Speck is smoked prosciutto. So, so good. The crust was a-maz-ing.

And we had a delicious dessert - smores. Homemade graham crackers, a ramekin full of delicious melted chocolate and another ramekin filled with toasted marshmallow. To quote the Rachael Ray, YUM-O!! Molly and I only had one complaint - there were only three graham crackers. We had a difficult time dividing the dessert in an equitable fashion. And, we had enough chocolate and marshmallow left for one more graham cracker. It was our only complaint. Just one more graham cracker.

I was delighted tonight when I read this blog about another lucky family's visit to Pizzeria 712 and saw this picture:
Count the graham crackers on that plate, people! Four! I feel like my voice was heard.

I can't wait to go back to P712 next time we visit Utah. I want to go for lunch and get a panini next time. Or go again for dinner and get the short ribs and polenta. Mmmmmmm....

you are making this hungry dieter downright grumpy! this food looks and sound marvelous. it's a good thing that i'd have to drive 10 hours to get to the restaurant. i'll put it on my list the next time we're in town.
