For several years, Diggity has hosted a dessert party to kick off the holiday season. I was adopted into the tradition when we moved into our new house and had the space to start up the tradition again. Diggity and I spend the year figuring out which bakeries and restaurants in the Boston area are known for their desserts, and then Diggity spends the day collecting the best of the best. It's a great deal of fun to have friends over to eat and play video games and just relax.
And now, the pictures!
(Yes, we have an official logo. If that surprises you, you must not know us very well.) :)
I was a little worried the new paint would clash with Christmas decor, but I love it.
These were ALMOST too pretty to eat.
We always have a sugar cookie decorating station.
Roger is our artist-in-residence. This is his creation this year. It's an homage to our scoutmaster friend Russell who just moved to Georgia.
Introducing Wayne and the Wonder Twins! With Catalina on drums. They're currently rocking out "Roxanne."

The Aftermath...
We had a great time, as always! Thanks to everyone who came! (And to those who sent us your pictures! I ended up with pictures nothing but food and of the rockin' Rock Star band.)
See you next year!

Holy Cow! I'm gaining weight just looking at all the goodies! Wish we could be there. And - your dining room looks wonderful - I love the new color with the Christmas decs too!
Oh my goodness! I want to know what in the WORLD you did with all of the leftovers! Your house looks gorgeous Macy and I have never seen so many movies in my life! :)
Are you freezing the leftovers and bringing them with you to Utah??? I could definitely go for some of that Dulce de Leche cheesecake and the cupcakes and the sugar cookies and the...
I don't see the Lobster tails. My mouth was watering before the pictures even came up. I'm with molly can't you bring some of it with you ; )
Everything looks wonderful as usual. The dining room looks beautiful.
I've gotta practice my Rock Band before we get together (Now that we're driving we're bringing Kyle's)
YUM! I drooled through the whole post.
How AWESOME :) I am hungry now! ♥ Hugs :)
SO FUN! Thank you!
umm....i'm coming over.
We wish we could keep the leftovers, but it's really not safe for us to have that much sugar in the house - for a variety of reasons. :) We invited the missionaries from our ward over on Sunday evening and sent them home with a box full of dessert. The rest of the leftovers went home with our Robison cousins on Monday night after we met up with them for Family Home Evening. So, no leftovers will make it to Utah. Yvonne - the lobstertail was there. It was cut in pieces and it was on the windowsill with the cannoli. Britt - come on over!
Aw, Man, Macy! Wish we could have been there. Looks like a fun time. Next year....
Next year I will have to try harder to complete the full tour of the room. I succeeded in finishing the table and half the windowsill (couldn't miss the pumpkin cookies) but really just loss time to go any further. Good thing I snuck a taste of the cake balls because those were AWESOME. I think my favorite of the year. Thanks for an awesome party!
Ummm, that is a new level of holiday party. Seriously. You have set a new standard.
P.S. Your house looks beautiful.
I agree with Dana. The cake balls were divine! Thanks again for such a wonderful night. Can I come over and dance with the dweebs again?
YUMMY! just looking at these pics, I want to do it again, today :)
