#tenyearsago was a pretty popular hashtag on Twitter this week. Everyone was posting about where they were and what they were doing. Here's mine from December 31:
Upside down in so many ways. Not only mom's death, but the crazy ups and downs for me personally in the years that followed. So bitter, but such sweet experiences too.
Needless to say, I'm grateful this January 2nd found me here:
Though I dearly, desperately wish I wasn't sending balloons to Grandma Marsha, I'm so very grateful I was able to do it with these two. The most precious gifts of my life. And though I ache every time this day rolls around, I'm grateful for the yearly reminder to live life like she did.

lump in my throat. What a neat picture, Macy. ...sending hugs your way...
Love the picture. Hugs.
what a touching post!
We love you. We were all thinking about your family and Marsha while we were together at Bear Lake.
This is the sweetest thing. What a wonderful thing for G-man to do to remember/recognize the woman who helped his mom become one of the best people in the world!!!!!
That is so sweet. I love the tradition you have for remembering your mom. G-man is a lucky little dude to have YOU as HIS mom.
