Trip to Ohio, Part 2

We were so lucky to be able to stay with Super Kimmie's brother and sister-in-law on our way to and on our way home from Ohio. They live in Buffalo, which was just about halfway to Columbus, so it worked out really well for us to stay with them. They are such gracious, kind people and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to spend time with them and their daughter, R.

On our way back home, we got to Buffalo on a Sunday afternoon. We went on a short walk in a beautiful park near their home. G-Man had a blast throwing rocks in the ponds and looking at the waterfall.

(And if you keep scrolling down, you'll actually see a rare picture of me! I guess I prefer being on the other side of the lens these days...)

P.S. After watching both speeches tonight, I just have to say - Go America! I'm pretty proud of our country today. When I heard about the lines outside polling places, I got a little teary eyed. My only wish is the two people that spoke tonight would have been the two we saw during the entire campaign. Especially Senator McCain.

I also wish the Comedy Central coverage tonight would have been funny. I was looking forward to it, and it was a bit disappointing.

Wow. Beautiful place. Beautiful pictures! And it's hard to be on the other side of the camera when you're the mom! I sometimes wish I had more of me in our pictures, but...someone's gotta take 'em.
