The DC - Day 1

Well, we're home. It feels like we've been gone for a really long time, but we had a great time and have interesting stories from our time in NY and lots of great times in the DC.

We left NY on Tuesday morning and managed to get our stuff on the train with help from Diggity. G-Man was sad to see him walk off the train and walk away. He cried for a few minutes and then found comfort in his duck blanket. The train ride was uneventful - thankfully.

Emily, Isaac and Miles were waiting for us at Union Station. We were very excited to see them and decided we would spend some time exploring DC while we were in the city.

G-Man and Isaac pause on our hike down Capitol Hill. G-Man had an unfortunate run-in with a cookie.

Isaac poses by my favorite place in DC - the fountain at the sculpture garden

G-Man running from the fountain

Three cute boys - all in a row

They were pretty wet when they were done. And guess who had a poopy diaper?

We went to the Natural History museum, hoping to see the butterfly exhibit - but the exhibit was closed for the day. So, we went to the bug zoo and then over to the Washington "monament" - as Isaac calls it.

Isaac loves the "monament"

G-Man was pointing everywhere. We're not sure at what.

They were cracking each other up. We're not sure what was so funny.

More giggling...
