Resolutionary Challenge - Week 4
Week 3 was pretty abysmal for me. I need to go record my points. They are few in number. Here's to a better week 4!

Project 365 - Day 28
G-Man and I were shoveling snow this afternoon, and the moon rose early. Such a beautiful day! And it was lovely, easy-to-shovel, fluffy snow too boot!

Project 365 - Day 27
Our morning play session.
"Mom, you want to play in my room?" is a question I hear a lot these days.
"Look, mom! It's Mater!" was the quote when this picture was taken. He loves so many different toys and so many things.
*These were taken with my new, super-sweet D700 that the nice UPS man brought in the morning.

Project 365 - Day 26
I was truly bummed at the end of the day on Tuesday. (And by "end of the day," I mean midnight.) I thought I missed the chance to take a photo on Tuesday. I meant to do it. I started to do it. Then I got sidetracked.
Then I realized - I did take a photo on Tuesday!
I was asked to take this snapshot at school of two new members of our administrative team. My streak is still alive!

Project 365 - Day 25
I just love this photo. I wrote a little bit more about the organized chaos behind him in this post on the other blog.

Resolutionary Challenge - Week 3
Week Two was not a good one for me. It seems when Diggity leaves town that I have a rough time with stuff like this. Here's to a better week.
P.S. American Idol updates start soon! I just finished watching Chicago - rough town. Not a lot of golden tickets. I cringe during the auditions. Oddly, G-Man is really liking watching the show with me. We call it the "Singing Show" and he gets frustrated with me when I fast forward through the painful auditions.
Hollywood Week can't come soon enough.
Here is the new PDF for this week. And if you need a link to the information for the Know Your Neighbor Wild Card, click here.

Project 365 - Day 23
I came up to G-Man's room and found his Mr. Potato Head collection dumped on the floor and he was trying to get inside the box where they are usually stored. Still not sure why he was doing it, but I thought it was pretty funny.

Project 365 - Day 20
An outtake from my pre-Valentine's Day session with the G-Man. He loved these pillows. And he called my backdrop a "stage." It was awesome.

I ♥ Faces - Week 3

The theme at I ♥ Faces this week is "We Are Family." I have a lot of fun family shots to choose from, but I thought I'd go with this one:
This was the last shot of our photo shoot. The last shot is usually one of my favorites. After spending the afternoon traipsing through the North End of Boston, we needed a release. And we ended up with a shot that reflects everyone's personality perfectly - even the youngest girl who is running away. *grin*

Resolutionary Challenge - Week 2
I have to say, this week went a lot better for me than I thought it would. My primary concern was to get the exercise point. And I managed to exercise 5 days this week. (We are supposed to exercise 6 out of 7.) I'm pretty excited about that. I'm going to make sure I hit all 6 days this week.

Good luck! Have a great week!
Project 365 - Day 17
I made Ina Garten's Brownie Pudding for Sunday dessert tonight. Here's the recipe.
Though, if you decide to make it, make sure you put in 3/4 cup of cocoa instead of 1/4 like I did. It was still delicious, but I find it's best to follow Ina's recipes precisely.

Project 365 - Day 15
At the end of every day, I hear this:
"Mom! Can I have a bubble bath with my guys?"
My guys = his Yo Gabba Gabba bath toys
It's the little stuff like this that I really don't want to forget.

Project 365 - Day 14
On seeing a pizza commercial tonight, G-Man said, "Mommy! Let's make some pizza!"
Sandwich rounds + tomato sauce + cheese + pepperoni = pizza!
And it was surprisingly good.

Project 365 - Day 13
G-Man found his book of family photos and had such a great time looking at them tonight. I'm so grateful he loves to look at photos and say everyone's names as he is looking.

I ♥ Faces - Week 2

Everyone is to enter their most recent "Best Face Photo." I had a few to choose from, but this one of Diggity and G-Man sledding together right before Christmas last month was my very favorite. It is such a fun reminder of the wonderful morning we had sledding together as a family.
